I was on a clinical trial for about 6 months of LENZ 100 and 101 of about 2 drops daily from July to Dec 2023. After the trial I experienced retinal tear and detachment and had to have vitrectomy. During the clinical trial I experienced some floaters. I also light flashes which was not mentioned on your symptoms while taking the drops. I hope you guys are telling patients that this may cause retinal tear or detachment. My take is that the constriction it causes may strain the eyes. Aceclidine may have similar miotic action to that of pilocarpine which can cause retinal tears.

Why are they not covered by insurance? Not everyone can afford it. If these are supposed to help patient improve their quality of life they should be covered by insurance
